General Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“GTC”) govern all relations between:

and any individual or entity wishing to make a purchase (hereinafter “the Buyer” or “you”) on the website litenvallhund.com (hereinafter “the Site”).

Any order placed on the Site constitutes acceptance without reservation of these GTC.

2. Scope

Sales made on the Site are available worldwide, provided shipping is possible via French postal services. These GTC apply to any order placed on the Site and shall prevail over any other conflicting provisions.

3. Products and Availability

3.1 Products

  • The products offered on the Site mainly include stickers, keyrings, and magnets.
  • Each product page provides a detailed description, including dimensions and sizes.
  • The products are inspected before shipping; there is no specific contractual warranty other than any legal warranties that may apply.

3.2 Availability

  • Availability is indicated on each product page.
  • Orders can only be placed for items in stock.
  • In the event of a stock error or unexpected shortage, we will offer either a full refund or a store credit equivalent in value to choose another product.

4. Orders

4.1 Order Process

  • To place an order, you must add the desired products to your cart, enter your contact and shipping information, then proceed with payment via our secure Stripe platform.
  • Before final confirmation of the order, you must check the box indicating your full and complete acceptance of these GTC.

4.2 Refusal or Cancellation of Orders

  • The Seller reserves the right to cancel any order for valid reasons (e.g. suspected fraud, product unavailability, etc.) and will notify the Buyer by email.
  • In such cases, a full refund will be made, without any obligation to provide detailed justification.

5. Price and Payment Methods

5.1 Price

  • The prices displayed on the Site are exclusive of VAT, as the auto-entrepreneur status does not permit VAT billing (“VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French CGI”).
  • Shipping costs are not included in the displayed price and will be calculated as an additional charge at checkout.

5.2 Payment

  • Orders are paid by credit card via the Stripe secure payment platform.
  • No other payment method is currently offered.

5.3 Payment Security

  • Payment information passes through the Site to be communicated to Stripe, without being recorded or stored.
  • The Site uses an SSL certificate and the Stripe platform to secure transactions.
  • The Seller does not have access to any confidential credit card data.

6. Shipping

6.1 Handling and Shipping Times

  • Orders are prepared and shipped within 48 business hours following receipt of payment, excluding weekends and public holidays.
  • In the event of a delay (e.g., inability to drop off the order at the Post Office within the specified timeframe), a discount code may be offered as a commercial gesture.

6.2 Shipping Methods and Areas

  • Packages are shipped via La Poste, both within France and internationally (where eligible).
  • Shipping costs may vary depending on the destination. If additional fees are required for certain countries, the Seller will contact the Buyer before shipment to find a suitable solution (additional payment, cancellation, etc.).

6.3 Transfer of Risk

  • Risk transfers to the Buyer (or an appointed third party) once they take possession of the package.

7. Right of Withdrawal

7.1 Legal Timeframe

  • In accordance with French law, you have a 14-day period from the date you receive your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to justify your reasons or pay any penalties.

7.2 Procedures for Exercise

  • To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send a clear request (e.g., by email) to contact@litenvallhund.com.
  • Return shipping costs are borne by the Buyer, unless otherwise provided by law.

7.3 Effects of Withdrawal

  • Upon receipt and validation of the returned items, we will proceed with either a refund (to the credit card used at the time of purchase) or issue a store credit, according to your preference.
  • A discount code may be offered to help offset return shipping costs.

8. Returns and Refunds

8.1 Acceptable Reasons

  • Returns are accepted if there is damage during transport or an order error.
  • Manufacturing defects are rare since products are inspected before shipping. If you have a justified complaint, please contact us as soon as possible.
  • Products whose protective film has been removed cannot be returned for a manufacturing defect claim.

8.2 Excluded Products

  • Personalized products are excluded from the right of withdrawal, in accordance with the law.

8.3 Procedure and Deadlines

  • After arrangement with our customer service, refunds may be issued:
    • by canceling the transaction and crediting the original payment card,
    • or by a coupon valid in our store.
  • The refund processing period is 48 business hours after confirmation of the return or cancellation.

9. Liability

9.1 General Limitation

  • The Seller cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from improper use of its products.

9.2 Specific Products

  • Stickers: adhesion depends on the chosen surface and conditions of application.
  • Keyrings: heavy or rough usage may cause premature wear; the Seller is not liable for damage caused by improper use.
  • Magnets: their hold may vary depending on the magnetized surface.

The Seller disclaims any liability for damage or injury resulting from incorrect installation, use, or maintenance of the products.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All creations (stickers, keyrings, magnets, visuals, etc.) sold on the Site are unique and protected by copyright.
  • Any reproduction, resale, or unauthorized use of the Seller’s creations is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal action.

11. Personal Data

11.1 Data Collection

  • The information collected during the ordering process includes first name, last name, postal address, email address, and possibly phone number.
  • These data are used solely for order processing and, if you have given your consent, for sending newsletters.

11.2 Payment

  • Payment information transits through the Site to Stripe, without being recorded or stored by the Site.

11.3 Newsletter

  • The Seller offers a newsletter subscription to inform customers of new products and promotions. You may unsubscribe at any time using the dedicated link in the emails.

11.4 Cookies

  • The Site mainly uses technical cookies essential to the operation of the CMS (WordPress).
  • No advertising tracking cookies are implemented by the Seller. The Buyer may install browser extensions (e.g., uBlock) to limit any possible third-party services.

11.5 Confidentiality

  • Personal data are not sold to third parties.

12. Modification of the GTC

The Seller reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time. The GTC in effect are those in force at the time the order is placed.

13. Disputes and Applicable Law

  • These GTC are governed by French law.
  • In the absence of a designated mediator, any dispute related to the application or interpretation of these GTC shall be submitted, failing an amicable settlement, to the competent French courts.
